Yellowstone! Part 2

In Yellowstone, we saw lots and lots of animals! This is a brief synopsis of our trip, using the animals as the timeline. Right when we got into the park, we saw the very rare bald eagle.
After that sighting, we saw some cute ducks, and, of course, many buffalo.
The closest we got to any of the animals was a reindeer really close to us in a field! There were two just grazing and they were so cute.
Then, we saw four grizzly bears- a mama and three cubs! They were pretty far up the hill though and we only saw them for a little bit before they hid behind the trees.
This was the best picture I could find that we took. Those cubs stayed well hidden.
Of course, we saw Old Faithful too!
Then, on our way back to our campsite, we almost HIT a DEER! It was TERRIFYING, but we're okay. Of course, we didn't get a picture of that; although the face of that deer with his wide eyes and springy legs are forever emblazoned into my mind. He was a very cute little deer, and he jumped just like Titan, our little dog. Here's our tent:
Yellowstone is BEAUTIFUL and we had so much fun!

Yellowstone!

We finally got to go to YELLOWSTONE! As far as my limited knowledge goes, Yellowstone is one of the prettiest places in the world. On Father's Day Weekend/Tom's Birthday Weekend, we got to go and camp there. It was so much fun.
We saw a lot of animals and beautiful sights. This best explains our wonderful trip to Yellowstone:

Summer Adventures. Part 1.

I've decided that it's time for another update. Tom and I have been having a busy, but good semester. And, joy of joys, it has finally warmed up!

First of all, here are some pictures from when we went to the Orlando Temple and Tom's parents were sealed. It was a wonderful experience and I was so glad that I was able to be there for it.

We've had some good times so far this semester. Our first excursion was going to Mesa Falls with the Peterson & Smith families. Then, we went to this place where a river comes right out of a mountain. It was really cool- minus all the bugs.
Here's Erica holding her niece, Charlotte.
This little bird was chillin' right inside the place where the water was coming out of. Pretty sweet spot, if you ask me.
Then, me and Tom went to a park and had s'mores after our picnic dinner to get us excited for Yellowstone and camping. Later that same night, we went to karaoke with our friends. It was extremely embarrassing, but way fun. We're totally going again.
The trip was fun, even though the park we went to was partly flooded!
Oh! And, I make crepes now! They are delicious and I'm pretty good at making them now:

My Job

I really do like my job right now. It's the most stressful thing I've ever done in my life; but it's also the most rewarding. I love that I get to use my brain; I don't just ask customers if I can help them like I did working retail.

But mostly what I like is working with the people I get to. All my reporters are truly wonderful people and sincerely do their best. Another thing that is really cool is that we actually put together a show. For those who don't know, or haven't yet realized, I work as a producer making shows on I-News (BYU-Idaho's student news organization). It's a pretty cool job.

The only down-side to my job is the time it takes to do all this. My show is only once a week, but with all the other homework I have to do, it takes up all my free time.

With all that being said, I thought I should put the final product here so everyone can see (and so my Dad and Ashli are happy that I posted something). I had the show on here, but it was extremely annoying and never stopped playing. So, now I just have a link to our website here.
Let me know what you think!

It's Summer Now?

As you have realized, I have been TERRIBLE about updating this blog. My apologies. We got married nearly 3 months ago and I haven't even posted since! After the wedding, we went on our cruise to the Bahamas and had tons of fun there (pictures to come).

Then, we travelled all the way back up to Rexburg, Idaho where we've been studying our little brains out. And now, we are patiently awaiting the arrival of Summer. Okay, okay, it hasn't been THAT cold, but it's still snowing in Yellowstone- and we want to camp already! School has been going great. Tom and I are busy with not only regular classes but also I-News, where he is an anchor and I am a producer. If you've never seen our website, then GO---> it's www.byuicomm.net.

I will try to be better about updating. I have heard that actual people are reading my blog; makes me feel great. So, the time has come for me to put a link from my facebook page to here. That means I will HAVE to update it...right? That's my theory, at least.

In other exciting news, Tom bought me a hand-held video camera that we've been using. But, we haven't made any awesome videos with it yet- just recorded some bowling and a trip. I have yet to put any of it on a computer. Soon enough though, soon enough.

So now, I have given myself a new assignment- to update my blog. Wish me luck.
