A Blogging Experiment

I'm trying to put up a BIG picture!

I just learned how to make my pictures bigger. Thought I'd celebrate by showing off my nephew with my little brother, even though I already posted this picture.

Bridal Shower...Part Two

Last night was my bridal shower, and it was so much fun! I'm not going to lie, I didn't think it would be as fun as it was. I got two scandalous gifts- thanks to the Makiyama's in my ward and my Aunt(?) Rebecca...I question it b/c she's not technically my aunt, but we're related and she feels like my aunt. Both gifts cracked me up and about gave my Grandma a heart attack (and my own Mother too!). It mostly hilarious, with a little awkward mixed in.

Anyways, it was an eventful evening and I'm so grateful for everyone that came and especially the wonderful ladies that helped put it together. Also, we played the game where I had to answer questions that Tom already answered and I didn't do half bad! I was very proud. My bridal shower was wonderful and I'm so blessed to know so many wonderful women who support me. Also, my Mom bought me two AMAZING down feather pillows and a quilt for our bed! She didn't have to buy me anything; she's and my Dad are throwing me a WEDDING, for goodness sake. They really are too wonderful to me.

I am blessed.

My Bridal Shower

Tom told me I need to write more on here, so here I am. He told me that he reads my posts, so it has encouraged me to create more; even if there aren't any pictures.

Tonight is a special night. Because, although I am away from the love of my life, I have my Bridal Shower to attend! I'm really excited, even though I still don't understand why it's called a 'shower.' Weird. But other than that, I'm happy about it. There is a game of sorts that we are supposed to be playing there. They have a set of questions that Thomas has already answered on video and they will ask me the questions and we're supposed to see how our answers line up. I hope I do alright; haha. All I know is that my Mom and Jill thought his answers were funny, so even if I don't answer right or am not so funny, his amazing personality will make up for it. Can't wait.

Also, we have begun the process of sending out invitations! We sent them already to all Tom's friends/relatives who he gave me addresses for. We still have to send out all mine though; and that means putting the stupid little things together. That's not so much fun, but I'll think it was worth it that I got to have cool invitations. I'm not going to lie, my Mom has done most of the work.

Thank you Mother!
And thank you Thomas, for reading my blog. I love you!

Skateboarders

My nephew Krew is the cutest baby I've ever seen. I don't just say that because he's my nephew; it's because it's true. It struck me how he's hardly a baby now, and practically a boy. This is him:
He went out front with my two brothers while they were skating and tried to join in. Needless to say, it was adorable.
Krew mostly stuck to the rail, even when he wasn't on his board (which is really my board).
Sometimes, Krew was in the way. But, it amazed me how he didn't care about falling over and getting hurt. Like father, like son.
All three of them!
See! Here he is getting ON the board. We're so proud! We knew he'd be a skater once Tyler and Ashli decided to name him Krew (the skate-brand anyone?)
This last picture is my FAVORITE! Dallin and Krew are so cute on the rail together. Real manly men.
Sometimes, I try skating with my bro's, even though I'm not really any good. But, this time I had fun taking pictures of their skating. I really wanted Tyler to get in the action so I could try to take a cute father-son shot. But, he hates having his picture taken and he was talking to our neighbor. So, I ended up with more uncle-nephew shots and they were cute. I love my family!...That's all.
